The Casey Roy Design Team is a vibrant, well-seasoned collective of design, administrative and procurement professionals. Echoing Casey’s energy and enthusiasm, they are instrumental in orchestrating an efficient project process. Shawna, Annie, Gay, Kelly, Karen and Jenny offer fresh perspective and valuable support for both CRD, our clients and our 2 new companies, FRAMED and Citrine Home.
Casey has amassed a wide-ranging portfolio of hospitality, commercial and luxury residential projects in her 20 year interior design career. Her project management methodology and quality of design & experience is a result of her innate hands-on style. Casey’s skill-set provides fluidity in the design process for her clients and the project team of consultants, craftsmen and contractors. Her zeal for high-style is contagious and representative of her devotion to create extraordinary and inspiring interiors. A testament to both her level of commitment and her project successes, Casey’s client portfolio includes a number of repeat clients and referrals.
At Texas A&M University, Casey’s Bachelor’s of Environmental Design equipped her with the architectural backdrop to benefit her clients and project team of designers, architects, engineers and contractors. Her design experience was fine-tuned at the Dallas, Texas office of the premiere hospitality and luxury residential firm, Wilson & Associates. After practicing design at DMR Architecture in North Carolina, Casey relocated back to Texas to join Baxter Design Group where she managed design teams and a well-rounded & impressive client project roster as Managing Director of Design and Associate. Casey is a Registered Interior Designer and a professional member of IIDA and ASID.

Shawna Misiong, IIDA, is a Registered Interior Designer (RID) with more than 10 years of experience in high-end residential, multi-family and commercial design projects. A Corpus Christi native, Shawna is an expert in both the decorative and architectural aspects of the design process and she is an integral part of all things creative at CRD. She and her husband, Michael Misiong, are proud parents of two boys, Corbin and Chase. Lucky for us, Shawna seamlessly transitions from a high-energy household to our high-energy projects.
Annie Hebdon Mueller is a San Antonio native who returned home after college after gaining valuable design experience in New York. Equipped with passion for all things design, Annie worked for famed designer Todd Romano, also a San Antonio native, at his office in NYC. Annie is an artistic & creative talent as well. Annie’s personal passion is painting. You can often find her creating art with mixed media or unique finishes for furnishings she has found to be repurposed. At CRD, Annie manages procurement and administrative duties with effortless finesse. Annie also serves as a Stylist and a Buyer, resourcing unique finds for our home décor boutique, Citrine Home.
Jenny Quintero, owner of Q Bookkeeping, manages all the complicated accounting aspects of our business to keep us in tip-top shape. Jenny has over 10 years of specialized accounting experience in the interior design industry. Thus, she knows her stuff and we are so happy to work with her! In addition to being a vital part of our team, she is also an Advanced Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. Jenny is currently advancing her Bachelors of Business Administration degree by working on her Masters of Accountancy and her CPA. Jenny also manages the accounting aspects for Framed and Citrine Home.
Gay Roy, or “Momma Roy” as she is referred to by Casey and her 4-legged children, is CRD’s Resource Coordinator. Gay manages our vast library of fabrics, samples and material books as well as constant communication with vendors & showrooms. Her devoted role as our Resource Coordinator helps to keep us on the apex of design. Gay’s creative talents keep our display windows adorned with festive décor. Gay is a Texan-by-way-of-New Orleans and prior to graduating from UNT, she was a member of the renowned Kilgore Rangerettes.
Kelly Strange is another superhero for our team. Kelly handles the administrative and marketing functions for our custom frame shop, FRAMED, and assists with styling and sales at Citrine Home, in addition to working on the CRD team. Kelly’s unique organizational and multi-tasking skills are a perfect fit for our team. Kelly assists with project installations, special projects in the design studio, procurement, and a variety of administrative duties for CRD. Kelly is originally from Dripping Springs and is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University. She met her husband, Matt Strange, while in college and they have 2 wonderful daughters, Alexandra and Molly.
We are thrilled to have Karen Harrison serving as the Sales Director at Citrine Home. Karen has stylishly worked in high-end retail sales & design positions throughout her career. She is a graduate of UT Austin with a BFA in Art and is a professional fiber artist. Karen’s upbeat perspective and engaging spirit are a wonderful fit for our team. Karen is originally from Dallas and has lived in San Antonio for more than 30 years. Karen is so proud of her 2 amazing children, Evan and Graham.
